CV joint
Garage word: ყუმბარა · Georgian: შრუსი · Russian: ШРУС, граната
A CV joint sits at the end of the drive shaft. It passes the engine's rotation to the wheel even while the wheel is turned and the suspension moves.
A worn CV joint usually shows as a clicking noise when driving with the steering turned to full lock. A common cause is a torn rubber boot that lets the grease out and the dirt in.
When buying, check whether you need the outer (wheel side) or inner CV joint, and the car's generation.
Fits, for example: Subaru XV 16-17, Volkswagen VW Jetta 15-18, Subaru Forester 12-18, Subaru XV 12-17, Subaru Outback 15-17.
